Gig announced!

At late notice, Dam Native FULL LIVE BAND have been recruited into playing a free entry gig in Parnell this next Friday 14 May at Juice Bar! There will be a bunch of other bands playing there too so get on down and hangout at this cool bar. Roots west are a reggae band and are starting things out for the evening. After that is 86 who is a solo hip hop artist playing over some backing tracks. Then comes Dam Native full live 6 piece band, we got 612 from Sydney for this one, its fully loaded. Then comes Fastwalker to finish things off.

Dam Native live band make a rare appearance after a delay while working on videos for the upcoming album “Aotearoa… Nobody Does It Better”… fresh and bursting with native wairua, come and check the band out for a super low price of $5 before 11pm, we just want to pack it out, and have a slamming gig! The one like Furious will work the crowd into a lather from 10pm onwards until just after midnight when the band of rolling stones DAM N8V will take the stage, followed by DJ CXL into the wee small hours.

In the last week I put up the new look native site. Plenty of work to be done, so just a quick post. No gigs coming up, but we have made a video for Whakarongo Mai Nae and its looking pretty sweet, and plans to shoot Only You on location in Tauranga.
